9x12 Jonah Hex pen & ink commission. The warping and slant is caused by the scan (the illustration is a part of a sketchbook) and is not present on the drawing itself. Finished in about 3 hours.

Great picture of Jonah Hex!! He was always a favorite character of mine.I like how you made him a little more scarred then normal here and gave him a little extra menace in his gaze!! Great work all around.
On a side note it'll be interesting to see what the movie version looks like!!

Thanks for the kind words. I really wanted to add a bit more grit to Hex (is that possible?) without moving him into Two-Face territory, and also use the bg to homage both his western origins and the oft-forgotten foray into SciFi after the first CRISIS.
