Description
A part of a Heroes Con 2012 pre-con commission, this Wonder Woman is Copic markers, white ink, and colored pencil on a (home made (?) Justice League sketch cover. And, as those who know me can attest, I love Wonder Woman, and the opportunity to draw her new costume was something I was really looking forward to.
These covers can be really hit or miss in regards to how well they take Copic markers, and even ink. I think it has something to do with the sheen or gloss on the board. And it varies from run to run. In fact, I know artists who flat-out won't do sketch covers as a result. This JLA blank was honestly great though. Best of the sketch cover stock I've used. My best bet is because its home made, and is truly a piece of bristol board. Either way, it was awesome to work on, and made this one of my favorites of the current lot I'm completing.
