This was a commission piece for the mighty Rhiannon ([link]). Storm in Asgardian garb. You remember, right? X-Men Annual #9? New Mutants Giant Size?
Anyway, Rhi loves her some Art Nouveau (as do I) and large mohawks, so I played up both of those a goodly bit here. I also avoided the whole stars/night thing as a simple background, as I realized I was starting to use it as a crutch. It's still clouds, but
a) it's Storm
b) she's in the air
c) Rhi asked for clouds
The usual 11x14, warm and gray copic markers w/prismacolor pencil on board.
